NexJ Systems Reports Third Quarter Fiscal 2012 Financial Results

Toronto, November 6, 2012 — NexJ Systems Inc., (TSX: NXJ), a provider of cloud-based software, delivering enterprise solutions for the financial services, insurance, and healthcare industries, today announced financial results for its third quarter ended September 30, 2012.

  • The NexJ Connected Wellness Platform became the technology foundation for a $39 million Connected Health & Wellness Project created to spur health care innovation throughout Southern Ontario and beyond
  • Acquired Broadstreet Data Solutions Inc. to add next generation data management solutions and mobile expertise to complement NexJ’s finance, insurance and healthcare offerings

Q3 2012 Financial Results

  • Third quarter revenue was $6.1 million, down 19% Y/Y
  • Adjusted EBITDA (as defined below) was a loss of $3.8 million or $0.19 per share (basic and diluted) for the quarter ended September 30, 2012 as compared to an adjusted EBITDA loss of $1.9 million or $0.10 per share (basic and diluted) for the comparative period in 2011
  • Net loss was $4.6 million or $0.23 per share (basic and diluted) for the quarter ended September 30, 2012, as compared to a net loss of $0.7 million or $0.04 per share (basic and diluted) for the comparative period in 2011

Non-IFRS Measures
