Position Summary
As a Business Analyst Consultant Co-op, you will support the Lead Professional Consultant on our projects and quickly learn how to identify and creatively solve complex problems, design or restructure critical business and processes, and fundamentally enhance the way a company operates. Our Professional Services teams are passionate about delivering tangible business results for our customer, always aiming for the highest degree of customer satisfaction.
The successful candidate has accountability for successfully designing, configuring, and implementing integrated software solutions for our customers, which will be used by thousands of their users.
Major responsibilities for the position will include but are not limited to:
- Documenting requirement discussions with customers on scope, gaps, and business risks
- Collaborating with NexJ Product Management to translate requirements and document solution designs, which meet our customers’ critical business needs, while aligning to NexJ’s product vision and roadmap
- Providing project guidance for business decisions relating to functional design and ensuring that technical development adheres to functional specification
- Supporting the testing cycle through the development of test plans, and triaging issues
Essential Skills and Qualifications
NexJ is seeking Intermediate and/or Senior level students who are working towards a Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or a Computer/Business related post-secondary Degree with the Co-op option.

- Experience or affinity towards gathering and analyzing business requirements, and drafting functional designs to deliver large-scale enterprise software implementation(s) using packaged software as the foundation, from inception to post-production
