Position Summary

This is a unique position that requires strong software development skills in addition to the ability to perform business requirements analysis and software design. You will get exposure to direct customer requirements while working on a system employing modern enterprise software design patterns.
Major responsibilities for the position will include:
- Working with the product management team to define and document functional requirements, and functional designs based on stakeholder input
- Prototyping and validating new designs early in the development cycle
- Leading and mentoring development & QA teams
- Contributing to the technical designs and direction
- Technical sales support including product demonstration and new functional prototyping
Essential Skills and Qualifications
NexJ is seeking Senior level students who are working towards a Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Design or a related post-secondary Degree with the Co-op option.

- Previous academic or work term experience with Java or C++ development and an understanding of programming
- Experience with user interface design and usability
- HTML, JavaScript, XML development
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
- Strong oral and written communication skills
