Position Summary
As an Infrastructure Support Coordinator Co-op you will have a pivotal role in maintaining and expanding the infrastructure to support the NexJ documentation strategy, with a focus on our documentation transform processes.
Major responsibilities for the position will include but are not limited to:
- Maintaining and expanding the transforms that convert a simple internal markup set to DITA (XML) for further transformation to PDF and Eclipse Help
- Refine and expand a custom set of XSL transforms and supporting CSS files to transform DITA-sourced documentation into PDF, Eclipse, and other output formats.
- Creating custom transforms to allow sourcing of Eclipse dynamic help from DITA
- Creating utilities to gather information from our product’s models and compile it, through DITA, to PDF or HTML
- Helping expand and maintain the functionality of our authoring environment and related tooling
Essential Skills and Qualifications
NexJ is seeking Intermediate and/or Senior level students who are working towards a Software Engineering or related post-secondary Degree with the Co-op option.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Previous academic or work experience authoring and modifying XSL transforms
- Exposure to and familiarity with XML
- Experience authoring and designing with CSS
- Analytical ability

- Detail-oriented
- Able to work independently with reasonable oversight
