Position Summary

As a Framework Developer, you will write code that will be deployed in production at major financial, insurance and healthcare institutions and that will be used by thousands of users. You will also have the opportunity to significantly enhance a framework that supports software on multiple browsers, tablets and smart phones. Our next-generation enterprise customer relationship management (CRM) applications are advancing the state of the art in scalable enterprise software.
Major responsibilities for the position will include but are not limited to:
- Design and development of Application Framework functionality
- Design and development of complex business logic
- Support for ongoing application design, implementation, debug and maintenance tasks
- Unit and integration testing
- Technical documentation
Essential Skills and Qualifications
NexJ is seeking Intermediate and/or Senior level students who are working towards a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Design Engineering or a related post-secondary Degree with the Co-op option.

- Previous academic or work term experience with Java, C, C++ and/or C#
- Strong object oriented programming skills
- Previous experience or familiarity with mobile, browser and tablet applications
- Experience with web development such as HTML and CSS
- JavaScript, XML, and AJAX development methods
