Position Summary

As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and configuring new software products for enterprise customers in the Financial, Insurance and Healthcare industries and used by thousands of users. This is a unique position that requires strong technical skills in addition to the ability to perform business requirements analysis and software design.
Major responsibilities and projects for the position may include and are not limited to:
- Mobile and tablet application projects
- Usability enhancements for NexJ applications
- Automation of business processes
- Social networking integration (i.e. Facebook and LinkedIn)
- Innovative health solutions and health inter connectivity projects (connecting doctors, patients and hospitals)
- Synchronization and integration with Microsoft Outlook/Exchange Server
Essential Skills and Qualifications
NexJ is seeking Intermediate and/or Senior level students who are working towards a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Design Engineering or a related post-secondary Degree with the Co-op option.
If you have….
- Previous academic or work term experience with design patterns and object-oriented programming
- Experience or knowledge of Agile Scrum Development
- Good understanding of relational databases such as SQL Server
- Strong written and verbal communication
